Cookie Policy
What Vebpac stores on your device, why, and how to control it.
2. What we use
We keep this deliberately small. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share what we store with advertisers or data brokers.
Strictly necessary — these keep the platform working and cannot be switched off:
- A session cookie, which keeps you signed in as you move between pages. It is encrypted, and without it you would have to sign in again on every page. It expires when your session ends or you sign out
- Security cookies used to protect forms and sign-in against cross-site request forgery
Preferences — these remember a choice you made:
- Your light or dark theme setting, so the site looks the way you left it
That is the full list. We do not currently run analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent before setting anything non-essential.
3. Third parties
Some parts of the platform load content from services we rely on, such as our payment processor when you pay, and our avatar service when your profile picture is drawn. These providers may set their own cookies when their content loads.
We do not control those cookies. Our Privacy Policy lists each provider we use and what they do for us, and their own policies govern anything they set.
4. Your choices
Every browser lets you see the cookies a site has set, delete them, and block future ones. The controls are usually under Settings, then Privacy.
You can block or delete our cookies at any time. Be aware that blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop you being able to sign in, because there would be nothing to remember that you are signed in with.
Because we set no non-essential cookies today, there is nothing here to opt out of beyond your browser controls, and no consent banner to click through.
5. Changes to this policy
We will update this page if what we store changes. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
